Retail Update - 1st Class Off Peak Trial

No Blogs for ages, then two come at once!

Continuing on from the 1st Class Off-Peak trial between London and Liverpool, Virgin Trains are introducing a 1st Class Off-Peak inter-available fare between London and Birmingham International for a trial period.
The 1st Class Off-peak single (FSS), will carry the same restrictions as the Standard Off-Peak (SVS/SVR).
The fares will be available for sale from the 22nd February, for travel from 1st March onwards.
The price will be £84 one-way, and normal Railcard discounts apply. (This product is not included in the relaxation of railcard holders being able to travel at anytime with off-peak tickets)
Passengers wishing to upgrade on the train can do so during Off-peak times.

North Wales - Milton keynes restriction correction

Currently, the Off‐Peak restrictions between North Wales and Milton Keynes/Northampton are incorrectly showing as 2T, which permits travel after 0415.
From Tuesday 16 February, the correct restrictions will apply as follows:
Southbound: VK – No arrival into MKC before 1020
Northbound: VN – No travel before 0905 and not valid on the 1640
